A Day in Wine Country

Two of our best friends were in town for the holiday weekend, so the four of us took a 24-hour trip up to Napa to get out of the city, taste some wine and be as merry as is possible, given the current state of the world we’re living in. We spent the bulk of our time together doing just that, with a sprinkling of photo-taking mixed in. We took A LOT of pictures, but we also drank a considerable amount of wine, and that doesn’t always lead to the best photo results, however we did snap a ton of great group shots and captured a few good outfit pics as well.

I wore this easy, breezy, brightly colored romper for optimal comfort during a day that was sure to bring a smattering of delicious local food, wine and heat (the temperature tipped past 100!). I couldn’t have been happier with this outfit choice—it kept me cool, looked chic and didn’t require constant adjusting/fussing. Seriously, go buy it, you won’t regret it. Paired with my lowest-key platform wedges, and I could have traipsed around the vineyards for 48 hours.

Outfit details: VICI romper; Gentle Souls shoes; BaubleBar earrings; Cary Lane bag; H&M shades (similar).
