Black, White & Red
While my good friend, Russie, was in SF visiting last week, we did a few shoots together—this was our first one. We found this amazing street art in North Beach and knew right away it would make the perfect backdrop for this look. Also, I promised you better backgrounds, didn’t I!?
Russie is a professional photographer, if you can’t tell by these beautifully constructed shots. She photographed our engagement shoot (one of the best days ever) and our wedding (the actual best day ever), so she knows how to get me comfortable in front of the camera, which you might be surprised to find I am generally not. I’m not one of those naturally photogenic people—I have distinct angles and poses (you’re probably like, yeah I’ve noticed…) that capture my image well, but not every shot is a gem. Russie, as both a close friend and a seasoned photographer, knows exactly how to get the shot she’s proud of and knows I’ll be pleased with.
Outfit details: Zara blazer; sheer black long sleeve blouse (similar; I seriously have NO idea where I got this); Zara shorts (ancient, couldn’t even find on Poshmark); Sam Edelman booties; Lupo bag.
One last kiss for the road…
