Spring Suiting

I love when outfits just come together effortlessly. It doesn’t always happen; in fact, I think most days I do shoots when I’m not already headed out, I have to pretend like I’m going someplace to get me in the getting-dressed-mindset. It does not always work. There are days where I just can’t will a location into being that inspires the right outfit. I rarely give up, but sometimes it just requires a lot of effort.

Today was one of those magical days where the vision I had kept coming further into focus as I was pulling things from my closet, and at the last second, I threw on a blazer I hadn’t planned to and, just like that, the ensemble felt complete. This is giving me total Miami in the late 70s/early 80s vibes and I am here. for. it. Hot girl summer, commence.

Lately Zara has been crushing with the spring styles, so I’ve had a hard time resisting popping in anytime I’m within a 2 mile radius. Highly recommend heading there if you’re tired of all the athleisure you bought this year.

Outfit details: Zara pants, blazer (similar), necklace and purse; Aritzia top; Jeffrey Campbell shoes (super old, no longer avail); Nordstrom sunnies (similar).
