Green on Green

I drove over to one of my old childhood haunts today—Cranbrook—for a quick photoshoot. The campus has no shortage of green spaces, fountains and scenic spots, all of which make for great natural backdrops. Snow or sun, we used to come here in high school when we didn’t want to go home, amassing a small army as soon as school let out for the day, where we whiled away the hours before curfew telling stories, plotting things and doing the occasional bit of homework. I was sad to see they let our favorite creek dry out; it’s now some sort of community garden.

Outfit details: Lulu’s dress; random thrifted belt; Toms shoes (I brought limited shoes to Mich with me).
