Posting from quaint Elk Rapids Michigan—specifically, the Elk Rapids Cinema. I had the pleasure of meeting the proprietor of this historic establishment (circa 1939), who told me a detailed account of the building’s original construction and various restorations since. He also bestowed upon me this postcard which features the theater as it appeared in 1963.
